Pricing & Process
Prior to designing your trip, we will discuss a budget range based on the destination, time of year and travel preferences. Our $250 planning fee covers our expert insights and advice to build an itinerary that’s perfect for you. Your itinerary will include bundled package pricing which displays the investment per person and inclusions such as transfers, tours, and hotels. Because advisors are provided with pricing based on bundled contract rates from our partners, we are not able to offer an itemized cost breakdown. Travel designers at Pique are paid a salary and our income is earned from planning fees and commissions from our partners. If the pricing does not meet your needs, your designer can discuss possible adjustments to your itinerary or we can make a referral to another reputable agency. Air pricing and assistance will be presented as a separate cost, should you choose to work with us on it.
If you require more than three revisions to your itinerary, our hourly rate is $125 per hour for additional consulting time. If you need assistance with airline ticketing, we can help at a rate of $60 per domestic ticket and $100 per international ticket, however many clients prefer to book flights on their own. For last minute travel within 60 days, an extra $250 rush fee covers additional time to find pockets of availability and is not guaranteed. Purchasing travel insurance is important to protect your investment.
Travel Planning as a Professional Service
Cost comparisons made online usually exclude important details such as government taxes, resort fees, room categories specifications, and amenities. Pique's trips offer higher value by providing support, the best guides, transfers, lodging, and recognition as a Virtuoso traveler. Pique's pricing for custom-designed trips can vary 0-10% more than booking direct.
Clients who choose to work with us feel this is worth the investment due to the benefits of expert guidance, insider access, saving time and worry, and providing a safety net if something were to go wrong.

Terms and Cancelations
Pique will attempt to negotiate future travel credits and/or refunds with suppliers in case of trip cancellation, but favorable terms cannot be guaranteed. Cancelation terms will vary depending on the type of booking. For cruise, group escorted tour, hotel, and airline-only bookings, partner cancellation terms will apply, and for cruise and group escorted tour pre/post-trip bookings, Pique cancellation terms will apply. Pique's refund timeline for cancellations will depend on the number of days prior to departure, and if supplier terms comply, a refund of up to 90% may be issued if canceled greater than 60 days prior to departure, up to 50% if canceled less than 59 days prior, and no refund will be issued if canceled less than 30 days prior. Pique expenses that are non-refundable include any upfront planning fees, the 3.5% processing fee charged by banks for trips paid by credit card, and bank wire fees. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
Before traveling internationally, all travelers must have a passport valid 6 months past your return date in order to pass through international customs. Immunizations are often recommended or required to travel to international destinations and some destinations require documentation of immunizations upon entry. Before booking flights, please check with your designer to ensure they align with your proposed itinerary.
